Extra Happy Hours and More

Need a reason to celebrate? How about additional happy hours every day at Z Grille... We've extended Happy Hour from 3pm until 7pm daily with a dollar off all martinis and beers from the tap, selected $5 glasses of red and white wine and $10 off any bottle of wine. Guests at the bar can choose from a list of appetizers, all priced at $5.

New Summer Menu

We've just introduced our new Summer Menu at Z Grille, made some changes to our ever expanding Wine List and added a new Stawberry Kiwi Mojito to our Drink List.

The new Summer Menu retains many favorites, reworks a few and introduces some new dishes. Try the Shrimp Nachos with corn & bean salsa, and guacamole or add chicken, steak, shrimp or scallops to any of our lunch or dinner salads. Lunch features a new Cholo Asado Sandwich wiht marinated skirt steak, guacamole and salsa, while Dinner adds a Fresh Sea Scallop entree with herb risotto and citrus butter, a Marinated Skirt Steak with coriander dusted green beans, pepper jack mash and chimichurri and the return of the Asparagus Sandwich.

In addition to some great wines, we've added a delicious new drink, the Strawberry Kiwi Mojito. It features Bacardi's Dragon Berry Rum, freshly muddled strawberries, kiwi and mint leaves and fresh lime. The strawberry and kiwi are a great complement to the strawberry notes in the Dragon Berry Rum. Grab one (or more).

Virtual Z

Jeff Houck of the Tampa Tribune just published a killer review of Z Grille that includes some pretty cool web content. They've put together a 360-Degree Virtual Walk though that allows visitors to explore the different design elements inside the restaurant. The walk though is interactive as well, with clickable hotspots that provide audio commentary from the Zack and the design crew that give you a behind-the-scenes look at our space. Everybody's Talking About Chef Zack Gross and Z Grille

Since the new Z Grille opened it's doors in early November, we've received some great responses from both our customers and local restaurant critics. The highly respected Laura Reiley from the St Petersburg Times penned a wonderful review shortly after we opened. This was followed by great words from the Tampa Tribune and Creative Loafing. Z Grille was then awarded Best New Restaurant in the St Petersburg Times' Tampa Bay's Top 100 Restaurants issue. If you haven't visited us yet, why not come in now and discover what all the talk is about.

Now, it seems that word is getting out to folks beyond the greater Tampa Bay area. Everyone involved with the restaurant were thrilled to learn that the venerable James Beard Foundation had selected Zack Gross as a semi-finalist for Best Chef in the South for their 2009 Awards. Much congratulations go to Zack for his years of hard work offering great food to diners in St Petersburg - and the local and national recognition he is receiving.

Why not wander over to Z Grille, grab a seat at the bar and unwind with a drink and a bite to eat while you look out the windows and watch the rest of St Petersburg wrap up their day. From 4-6 daily, Z Grille offers specials on libations, including $10 off any bottle from our collection of red and white wine, $1 off draught beers and specialty drinks and some glasses of red or white wine for $5. Come in and get happy with us...

Need an excuse to try some of those intriguing wines you've been staring at from our wine list? At the risk of being labeled enablers, we've now given you that excuse - MONDAYS. Drop into Z Grille on Monday and enjoy any bottles from our list for half price. That's right - half-off - which gives you the freedom to dig deep into our wine list and try something you might not otherwise. Or, if that's not your cup of tea, why not enjoy two bottles for the price of one. Either way - you win. We're determined to make Mondays a day to look forward to instead of dreading.
